Hi, my name is Howard... I am 34 years old, married to my teenage sweetheart Becky & we live in Birmingham, UK with our two boys Albie & Oscar.
My style has grown from my theory of what a Wedding Day should actually be. I believe that a wedding should be a wedding, not a photoshoot. My goal is to capture your day as it happens rather that trying too hard to make stuff happen. I shoot with small quiet cameras which enables me to get in close with your guests. Often the guests themselves have bigger, louder cameras than me!
I try to spend as little time as possible doing the dreaded 'group shots' and would rather spend that time capturing real moments that will actually mean something in the future when you look back at them.
I understand that 95% of my couples are not professional models and appreciate that posing as a couple in front of a 'professional' with a camera probably sounds like one of the scariest things ever... However my posing style is relaxed and quick. I quickly came to realise that trying to get everyday people to pose like its some kind of shoot for Vogue doesn't work. I just want you to be you and hopefully when you look back at the photos they will mean more to you because of this.
